Missing Parts / No Instructions
First the set came with no instructions for assembly, just bags of parts. Then assembly is not like the picture above. Finally, parts are missing. There are no screws to hold the rims on the tomtoms. I have called Muscians Friend 3 times over the course of two weeks to be told that they are working on it. If I did not live out past the end of the world I would return the set and get my 10 year old a different Christmas present. Very frustrating.
Nice quality - misleading picture
Our 10 year old has been taking drumming lessons for the last year. We were excited to get him his 1st drum set for Christmas. He was thrilled. His drum teacher is coming to assemble it for him as we are not allowed to touch the set! The quality appears superb. The set has a very nice finish and the pieces look well constructed. We feel it is the perfect starter set for him. Our only complaint is that the picture shows the 2 cymbals as if the set comes with them. In fact, it comes with a cymbal stand. The brief description below the item specifications indicates that the cymbals are not included. So, all in all, we expected the cymbols because of the picture. Had we read further, this would have been clearer to us. The picture should not depict items that are not included.
